Guide For Authors

Abstract/Manuscript Submission

Abstracts must provide a succinct account of the proposed paper/poster. The abstract must comply with the guidelines outlined below. All abstracts will be blind refereed by the Scientific Committee. Submissions will be judged on the following:

  • Relevance
  • Significance
  • Originality
  • Achievement
  • Presentation
  • Replicability
  • Technical

Final acceptance is conditional upon registration of presenters by the "Early Bird Registration" deadline on 28th May 2010.

To achieve a consistent appearance across all papers, the following paper template is provided. Do not include page numbers, or use headers or footers on the pages. Papers should be no more than 6 pages in length.

Please ensure that you acknowledge the research project sponsor/funding agency where appropriate.

IET Copyright Form

When submitting your final camera ready paper, we also require that you attach a completed IET copyright form. This form is available below. As we will require your signature, we suggest that you fill out the form, print it, scan it to PDF/jpeg and then upload the completed PDF/jpeg.

Submitting Your Camera Ready Paper

  • Login into your account.
  • On your Dashboard, click on the title of your paper.
  • Click on "submit camera ready paper"
  • Ensure that your paper title, abstract, list of all authors (including email addresses of each author) and keywords are correct. Make changes where appropriate (This information in the form should be identical to that in the camera ready PDF).
  • Attach your camera ready PDF.
  • Attach your IET copyright form.
